ORP重要性

高ORP=消毒能力
ORP越高,就會發生更多氧化作用,從而奪取細菌的DNA、細胞膜和蛋白質的電子,並殺死細菌和有害病原體。1氯被添加到水中殺菌,因為氯具有很高的ORP,有效消毒。2所以高ORP的電解氧化水具有殺菌作用。3氧氣也具有很高的ORP4,可以破壞DNA和蛋白質。5相反地,氫分子具有非常低的ORP6,因此成為還原劑或抗氧化劑。7
    
飲用水的ORP:對健康的影響
飲用水質量是由國家標準決定。但ORP卻沒有標準化指標。氯經常被添加到飲用水中,因為它具有很高ORP,會氧化和破壞人體有害的細菌。2但是健康人體內部環境的ORP總是還原性的8,9,低於-350mV。10
因此,從健康的角度,最好的飲用水是負ORP值的飲用水。如飲用正ORP值飲用水,需要消耗細胞膜上的電能以還原負ORP值。10,11自來水,雨水等的ORP通常在200~400mV之間,8甚至高達500~600mV。12事實上,自來水已被證明是一種弱的促氧化劑。13在一項研究中證明,礦泉水將細胞內的氧化還原狀態提高6~10%氧化。自來水含有HOCl(添加氯),將大鼠骨骼肌細胞內的氧化還原狀態提高25%氧化。14

    
飲用水ORP的建議
在某些人體生物液中,ORP較為低。15,16例如母乳和唾液ORP均為-70mV。8皮膚、血漿、羊水和尿液都具有還原特性。新鮮的水果和蔬菜汁ORP只是-50mV8,表現出還原性。研究人員指出,可以通過測量ORP衡量水果和蔬菜的新鮮度。
但是,比ORP值更重要的是影響該ORP值的化學物質。僅僅衡量水的ORP值,並不代表飲用後具有任何生理抗氧化價值。而且負ORP值的物質不可能是有毒的,而正ORP值的物質亦可能有治療作用的。
